Installation:System Requirements

• Microsoft Windows Operating System^® (98 or higher)
• An IP address with nothing bound to Port 80. WiRNS acts (in part) as a web server, and communication from ReplayTV^® units to WiRNS occurs on Port 80.

If you are running another web server, it may be necessary to Bind a second IP address to your nic.

• Microsoft .Net^® 2.0 or higher Framework Redistributable package for your operating system.
• A Channel Guide Data source. This has become necessary now that the termination of the official ReplayTV Guide Data Service has been announced.

  • Optionally, an XML guide data scraper, such as the Free MSN^® XMLTV Scraper may be used.
